Description of the problem	Strong smell of gas inside the cabin of the car while idling. My wife and i picked up our children from the baby sitter's residence. I left the car idling in the driveway of her residence. Upon returning to the vehicle, we noticed a strong smell of gas inside of the cabin of the car, especially in the back seat. After removing the back seat, i removed the covers for the fuel sending units and noticed that there was a pool of gasoline covering the outside of the fuel sending unit. After doing research on the topic, i came across at least 80 documented cases of the same or similar issues filed under ea13003. I would like to add my vehicle to this complaint in hopes of garnering action on the part of mbusa to remedy the problem. The cdc recognizes the dangers especially in children to prolonged exposure to gas fumes. Help!
